Job Title: Cardiovascular Sonographer – Flexible Schedule – Raleigh, NC
A respected healthcare provider in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Cardiovascular Sonographer to join their imaging team. This opportunity offers a flexible schedule with a guaranteed half-day on Fridays , promoting excellent work-life balance.
Shift/Hours:
Flexible scheduling – set your own hours. Typical schedule is Monday through Thursday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM , and Friday, 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM .
Typical Volume:
When working an 8-hour day, the candidate will perform approximately 6–8 studies , each lasting 1 to 1.5 hours .
Position Overview:
The Cardiovascular Sonographer will perform ultrasound imaging of cardiac and vascular structures, provide pre- and post-procedure care, maintain equipment, and manage imaging data.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct pre- and post-procedure patient assessments, including emergency cardiac care (CPR required)
Generate ultrasound images of the heart and vascular systems
Perform routine equipment calibration and maintenance
Prepare procedure rooms and maintain cleanliness between patients
Manage patient records and imaging data entry
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in Sonography, Radiology, or a related field OR completion of a 12-month ultrasound program (within 3 months of hire)
Registered (or registry eligible) with ARDMS or CCI , with registration required within 1 year of hire
No prior experience required
