Job Opportunity: Our team is seeking a talented Database Architect to work in our Washington DC location.

What You'll Get To Do as a Database Architect:

Manage the development of database projects. Plans and budgets for staff and database resources.
Reallocates resources to maximize benefits.
Prepares and delivers presentations on database management systems (DBMS) concepts.
Provides daily supervision and direction to support staff.
Provides highly technical expertise and support in the use of Database Management Systems (DBMS).
Evaluates and recommends available DBMS products to support user requirements.
Defines file organization, indexing methods, and security procedures for specific user applications.
Develops, implements, and maintains database backup and recovery procedures, ensuring data integrity, security, and recoverability.

Qualifications:

BA/BS in a technical discipline with at least 10 years of experience.
Five (5) years of relevant experience.
Relevant certification from a recognized technical authority.
Experience in development and maintenance of database systems.
Experience with management of database systems, system design, analysis, operating systems software, and data manipulation languages.
Must possess IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 (T3) at time of proposal submission (equivalent of Public Trust).
