We are looking to add an Event Administrative Assistant to our team. See below for details and to

Essential Functions:
- Must have excellent planning and organizational skills
- Familiarity and knowledge of all departments within the hotel
- Possess effective communication skills and customer relationship management skills
- Able to multi task and prioritize activities by importance
- Must have patience and possess strong passion for event and wedding planning.
- Excellent phone skills required , and be able to manage and balance group and business based on the resort's revenue strategy.
- Act as liaison between departments for events and effectively maintain proper communication.
- Knowledge of Delphi/Salesforce and HMS preferred.
- Primarily a daytime role, but must maintain a flexible schedule and be willing to work on evenings, weekends and holidays if needed.
- Hotel/Food Management or Business Administration experience in food service - a plus!
The Event Administrative Assistant/Coordinator will thrive on fostering a fun and productive work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Answering office phones & checking voicemails
- Monitoring and scheduling of deposits/invoices for all events.
-Process all group billing
- Coordination of day meetings, organization of all in-house meetings
- Sends out daily and weekly reports to respective departments within the resort
- Market research
-Desire to take on new projects
-Bring creative solutions to the team
- Foster relationships with clients with prompt and efficient service and communication
- Maintains event records, process turn files for events, weddings and groups.
-Act as the "gate keeper" to the Events office to funnel and filter communications from clients and fellow associates to solve and bring to resolution any and all questions or issues.
-Pioneer and Manage Events social media accounts
-Primary Liaison between departments and the Events Team
