About the Role:

The Food Runner plays a vital role in ensuring a seamless dining experience by efficiently delivering food orders from the kitchen to guests in a timely and professional manner. This position requires close coordination with kitchen staff and servers to maintain the flow of service and uphold high standards of food presentation and safety. The Food Runner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the service areas while adhering to all safety and hygiene protocols. Working primarily in the Main Clubhouse, this role demands flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays to meet the dynamic needs of the hospitality environment. Ultimately, the Food Runner contributes significantly to guest satisfaction by supporting the team in delivering prompt and courteous service throughout each shift.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the hospitality schedule.
  • Physical capability to lift and carry heavy weights safely and perform repetitive motions.
  • Full range of mobility including reaching overhead and standing for extended periods.
  • Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene procedures.
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced hospitality or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and guest service protocols.
  • Certification in food handling or safety training.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
  • Ability to multitask and maintain composure during busy service periods.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver food orders promptly and accurately from the kitchen to guests in the dining area and room service locations.
  • Assist servers by replenishing beverages, clearing plates, and maintaining cleanliness in dining and service areas.
  • Follow all safety procedures and hygiene standards to ensure food is handled and transported safely.
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff to coordinate order timing and special requests.
  • Maintain full mobility and stamina to stand for long periods, carry heavy trays, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
