Job Summary:
We’re seeking a reliable Laundry Attendant to manage daily wash-and-fold operations. You’ll handle customer laundry, including sheets, linens, and towels, from drop-off to delivery, ensuring top-quality results. This hands-on role may involve driving for pickups and deliveries, perfect for someone who enjoys practical work and customer interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Sort, wash, dry, fold, and package laundry, including sheets, linens, towels, and bulky items, using eco-friendly detergents and following care instructions.
Operate commercial laundry machines, including large-capacity units for oversized loads.
Perform pickup and delivery services for customers across Owen Sound using a company vehicle.
Greet customers, process orders, and handle payments via card, or app-based system.
Maintain a clean facility, sanitizing machines, folding areas, and delivery vehicles.
Monitor and replenish supplies (detergents, bags, etc.) and report inventory needs.
Assist self-serve customers and resolve minor machine issues as needed.
Adhere to safety and eco-friendly practices to minimize waste and energy use.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong attention to detail for high-quality laundry results.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks.
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude.
Basic computer skills for app-based systems (training provided).
Experience in laundry or delivery is a plus but not required.
