Analyze current network, troubleshoot, diagnose, and rectify issues as required. Monitor performance and status of the Network; develop and improve methods for troubleshooting and researching problems; create and maintain logs, records, diagrams and reports of any and all network systems. Perform the Installation, operation, administration, and maintenance of Wireless Network. Design and implement a plan to optimize network. Configure, wireless APs switches and access controllers for network deployment. Installing, upgrading and maintaining network operating systems, and hardware. Working with the Principle partners to develops design criteria for implementing new products, services and technologies to meet customer needs. Be willing to climb towers, deploy or provide maintenance of the network infrastructure Oversee the day-to-day operations of running the business Provided added labor for the day- to-day operation of the company including but not limited to customer premise installations, rectifying customer complaints support to sales and marketing. Be a team member willing to wear many hats as this is a small WISP
Wireless networking experience maintaining and supporting WiFi network infrastructure. Experience in local and wide area network management and administration including system configuration, troubleshooting, design, implementation, and user support. Experience installing and supporting both wired and wireless network solutions. Knowledge of the following: IP protocol and subnet masking; Wireless Controllers CAPWAP; knowledge of a conditional access environment AAA, policy enforcement; all Networking topologies (Gigabit Ethernet, 10Gbps ect); all Routing protocols and configuration; switching and configuration options (VLANS, HSRP, NSSA, DHCP, PBR, VPNs, NAT, ect) VoIP protocols (SIP, MGCP, RTP and Session Boarder Controllers) Strong analytic, problem-solving, and conceptual skills; and strong verbal and written communication skills. MikroTik certified ( MTCRE, MTCWE, MTCTCE, MTCINE, MTCUME) Local area travel is required Excellent management, communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of Microsoft software applications and other software applications as required
Bachelors Degree in computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience (wireless networking). Trained in MikroTik Valid state drivers license and a good driving record Stable work history Must be willing to be on call 24/7
