Substantial capital investment and growth have created the need for additional Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physicians. The selected candidates will join our team of over 25 PEM physicians managing more than 67,000 annual visits. Enjoy practicing in a state-of-the-art 39-bed emergency department supported by a dedicated suture team, embedded behavioral health unit, child life specialists, pediatric hospitalists, neonatologists, critical care, and orthopedic and pediatric surgery services. Akron Children's Hospital is the only pediatric hospital in northeast Ohio with its own helicopter and pediatric transport team.
This position is a 501(c)(3) site which qualifies for Public Service Loan Forgiveness through the Federal government.

Requirements include MD or DO degree, board eligibility/certification in Pediatric Emergency Medicine, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, and the ability to obtain an active medical license in Ohio.
